You can pay in installments however it will need to be paid in full by uplift date.

What are some of the costs involved in moving interstate??

The biggest factor of increasing costs on any move, is the amount of furniture and boxes that you have.

It always pays to reduce the amount that you are taking if at all possible, have a clear out, a garage sale, or donate to charity any items that you really no longer need.

Things like big old wardrobes, and wall units, as they tale a lot of space on the removalist truck, and it may be cheaper to just buy a second hand one when you get to your destination.

Other factors include access to your property, for example.

Do you have a steep driveway, or loads of stairs, or a lift to your apartment?

Whilst most interstate moves are based on cubic meters as such, we do need to allow for extra time taken for bad access.

If you want to keep your moving costs low, then its a good idea, if its possible, to ensure that everything is at ground level, to speed things up.

Your removalist will of course carry everything down for you, but if you want to save some money, this is a good idea.

To match a competitors price we would first need to assess it based on a written quote from them.

Does it cost more to move over Christmas?

Yes our prices do change, however it is only for the months of December and January.

The variance is to cover extra staff, trucks that may need to be hired, and longer hours worked..

Is there any additional fee’s for date changing?

No, we don’t hit you with any additional fee’s for changing the date of your move.

You do however need to call the office as soon as you know so we can try to secure you a new spot on another truck.

The more notice you can give us the smoother it will be for everybody involved.

Do you supply packing boxes in Brisbane?

We unfortunately can not supply you boxes in Brisbane, however we are located on the Gold Coast, and are able to sell you some from our depot if you wish to come down to get them from us, alternatively you are able topurchase materials from a nearby Self storage facility.

Can I go in the truck with the removalist?

Unfortunately this is not a service we can provide as our trucks to not travel from your pickup and straight to your destination.

It would take quite a while longer to travel, plus it would not be the most comfortable or enjoyable way to travel interstate.

What is the size of a “standard” removal carton

A “standard” removal carton has the following dimensions,
435 x 410 x 600mm

Standard cartons are ideal for clothes, light items, linen, crockery, glassware etc.

Can I purchase cartons from you in Adelaide

Unfortunately not, this is not a service we can provide for you, you would be best to look into pet transport, or drive them up in your car as a truck is not a suitable place for animals..
